Inserting
Our Phillipsburg "swing arm" inserting machines can insert up to 6 mail components into open-sided envelopes (max size: 5¾ x 9½). Also in-house is an oversized Mastermailer capable of inserting up to 6 mail components into open-sided envelopes (max size: 10x13). This is ideal for annual reports and related materials such as proxy forms & information circulars.
Tabbing (a.k.a. wafer or mail sealing)
Our high speed Buskro tabbing machine is capable of applying one or two tabs (on one side) per pass and also works in-line with our Buskro ink jet printing device, giving us the capability to simultaneously ink jet and tab your mail pieces.
Poly Bagging
Poly bags have become a very viable and eye-catching alternative to envelopes. SLM has four (4) semi-automatic Mail-Bagger machines that are capable of building a poly bag to the size of the particular mail component. Protect that calendar, magazine, catalogue or special mail piece with poly. This covering is highly effective and is acceptable for Canadian, USA and International mail.
Folding
Letterfold, right angle and v-folds are the most common styles requested and we can also do specialty folds such as a roll-fold and slit. Just tell us what fold you would like!
Cutter/Trimmer
SLM has a commercial paper cutter for finishing mail components to exact specified sizes.
